S.O.S Truck Repair. Please be advised that you should use their services at your own risk, as I found them to be highly incompetent In all my years in the industry, I have never experienced a situation like this: I had a brand new tire installed on my semi, only for that same tire to come off the rim less than three hours later. To make matters worse, they do not guarantee their work. Once they have taken your money, they take no responsibility for what happens afterward. I strongly advise that you shop around and look for other options before considering hiring them.

Very shady shop with very little knowledge about semi trucks. Requested Fuel filter change only for Kenworth T680 with Paccar Engine and we got $600 charge. Look at the invoice and the description. Not recommended.

I would give SOS negative stars if I could! I went to SOS because they are local and I needed a PM (Preventive Maintenance) done on my diesel ambulance, the tire fixed (inner dually tire), and to get a quote on an oil leak issue on the upper passenger side of the engine (a common issue on the Ford PowerStrokes of this type). More than two weeks later: They hadn't finished fixing the tire, they did not perform the PM, and really did not give me a quote on the oil leak. I asked for the service notes from the service, to verify what they actually did to the vehicle, they refused to give me them (the owner refused). INSTEAD, for some reason, of doing what they were supposed to do, they were playing with the accessory electrical system (all the lights and sirens) and trying to find the auxiliary air unit: Which they HAD NO IDEA what they were doing and those systems had nothing to do with what I brought the ambulance to them for. They turned on the security idling system, that allows the ambulance to stay running while on a call. If someone tries to hijack the ambulance, it'll turn off. They should have never touched the system, as it's not part of the normal operation of the vehicle

Got us out of our bind on vacation on a Sunday, had us rolling out next afternoon great family owned business,honest and goes above and beyond!! Thank you for your quick service ,broke down on 6/7/19 on the road 6/8/19 finishing our summer trip now. Highly recommend if in New Orleans in need of a diesel mechanic.
